জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণের বিষয়ে বিভিন্ন সময়ে নানা আলোচনা উঠে এসেছে। এটি একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়, যা ধর্মীয়, মানবিক এবং জাতীয় দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে বিশ্লেষণ করা প্রয়োজন। সমাজে জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণের বৈধতা এবং এর প্রভাব নিয়ে বিতর্ক দীর্ঘদিন ধরে চলছে। শরিয়া অনুযায়ী, এই বিষয়ে সঠিক দিকনির্দেশনা বুঝে নেওয়া অত্যন্ত জরুরি।
জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণের শরিয়ার দৃষ্টিকোণ
শরিয়াতে সন্তান জন্মদান এবং পরিবার বৃদ্ধির প্রতি উৎসাহ দেওয়া হয়েছে। পবিত্র কোরআনে আল্লাহ বলেছেন: “তোমাদের মধ্যে অবিবাহিতদের এবং তোমাদের দাস-দাসীদের মধ্যে সৎকর্মশীলদের বিবাহ দাও। যদি তারা দরিদ্র হয়, তবে ঈশ্বর তাঁর অনুগ্রহে তাদের ধনী করে দেবেন।” [আন-নূর: ৩২]
এই আয়াত থেকে স্পষ্ট যে আল্লাহ দারিদ্র্যের কারণে বিবাহ বা সন্তান জন্মদানকে নিরুৎসাহিত করেন না। বরং, তিনি তাঁর অনুগ্রহে তাদের জীবনযাপনের ব্যবস্থা করবেন বলে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছেন। নবী মুহাম্মদ (সা.) বলেছেন, “তোমরা এমন নারীদের বিয়ে করো যারা সন্তান জন্ম দিতে সক্ষম, কারণ কিয়ামতের দিন আমি আমার উম্মতের সংখ্যায় গর্ব করব।” এটি স্পষ্ট করে যে সন্তান জন্মদান ইসলামের একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দিক।
জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণের প্রেক্ষাপট
আমাদের সমাজের তথা কথিত অনেক বুদ্ধিজীবীরা আর্থিক বা সামাজিক কারণে সন্তান সীমিত করার পক্ষপাতী। তারা মনে করেন, অধিক সন্তান দারিদ্র্য বাড়ায় বা জীবনযাত্রার মান কমিয়ে দেয়। তবে শরিয়তে সপষ্ট আদেশ অর্থ সংক্রান্ত এই যুক্তির বিপরীত। আল্লাহ বলেছেন: “তোমরা দারিদ্র্যের ভয়ে তোমাদের সন্তানদের হত্যা করো না। আমিই তোমাদের এবং তাদের জন্য রিজিক প্রদান করি।” [আল-ইসরা: ৩১]
শরিয়ত নির্দেশ দেয় যে আল্লাহ প্রতিটি প্রাণীর রিজিকের ব্যবস্থা করেন। মানুষের উচিত আল্লাহর উপর আস্থা রাখা এবং সন্তান জন্মের বিষয়ে নেতিবাচক মনোভাব ত্যাগ করা।
সহবাস ও সাময়িক ব্যবস্থা
শরিয়াতে সহবাস বা সন্তান ধারণ বিলম্বিত করার সাময়িক অনুমোদন রয়েছে যদি তা যৌক্তিক ও বৈধ কারণে হয়। উদাহরণস্বরূপ, যদি স্ত্রীর স্বাস্থ্যজনিত সমস্যা থাকে বা বুকের দুধ খাওয়ানোর সময় গর্ভধারণ তার জন্য ক্ষতিকর হয়, তবে এই পরিস্থিতিতে সন্তান ধারণ বিলম্বিত করা যেতে পারে। তবে এটি স্থায়ী জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণের অনুমতি দেয় না।
জাতীয় স্বার্থ ও জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি
জাতীয় স্বার্থের জন্য জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। একটি জাতির শক্তি তার জনসংখ্যার প্রাচুর্যের উপর নির্ভরশীল। পবিত্র কোরআনে আল্লাহ বলেছেন: “ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি পার্থিব জীবনের শোভা।” [সূরা কাহফ: ৪৬]
সন্তান সীমিত করার ধারণা জাতির ভবিষ্যতের জন্য ক্ষতিকর হতে পারে। জনসংখ্যা বৃদ্ধির মাধ্যমে মানব সম্পদের উন্নয়ন সম্ভব, যা একটি সমাজের অর্থনৈতিক ও সামাজিক অগ্রগতির জন্য অপরিহার্য। আল্লাহর উপর আস্থা রেখে, সন্তানদের জন্ম ও প্রতিপালনে মনোনিবেশ করা উচিত।
জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণের নিষিদ্ধ দিক
জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ ব্যবস্থার কিছু পদ্ধতি ইসলামে সম্পূর্ণরূপে নিষিদ্ধ। যেমন:
১. অর্থনৈতিক কারণে: আল্লাহ তাআলা বলেন:
“তোমরা দারিদ্র্যের ভয়ে সন্তানদের হত্যা করো না। আমি তাদের এবং তোমাদের রিজিক দান করি।” [সূরা আল-ইসরা: ৩১]
তবে শুধুমাত্র অর্থনৈতিক ভয়ের কারণে জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণের সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া ইসলাম সমর্থন করে না। এ ক্ষেত্রে আল্লাহর প্রতি তাওয়াক্কুল করা উচিত।
২. স্থায়ী বন্ধ্যাত্ব: যদি কোনো ব্যক্তি স্থায়ীভাবে সন্তান জন্মদানের ক্ষমতা নষ্ট করে ফেলে, তা সম্পূর্ণরূপে হারাম। রাসুলুল্লাহ (সা.) বলেন:
“তোমরা বিয়ে করো এবং বংশ বৃদ্ধি করো; কেননা আমি কিয়ামতের দিন তোমাদের সংখ্যাধিক্যে গর্ব করব।” [আবু দাউদ: ২০৫০]
৩. পশ্চিমা সংস্কৃতির অন্ধ অনুসরণ: অমুসলিমদের জীবনধারা ও সংস্কৃতির প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হয়ে জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ করা ইসলাম অনুমোদন করে না। এটি মুসলিমদের আত্মপরিচয়ের বিপরীত।
শরিয়ার নির্দেশনা
শরিয়ার মূলনীতি অনুযায়ী, মানুষকে তার জীবনের প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্রে আল্লাহর নির্দেশনা মেনে চলতে হবে। নবী (সা.) বলেছেন, “স্রষ্টার অবাধ্যতায় সৃষ্টির কোনো আনুগত্য নেই।” এটি প্রমাণ করে যে কোনো সিদ্ধান্ত বা ব্যবস্থা শরিয়ার বিপরীত হলে তা গ্রহণযোগ্য নয়।

বৈধ পন্থা ও ক্ষেত্র
১. সাময়িক প্রতিরোধ: স্ত্রী বা স্বামীর স্বাস্থ্যজনিত সমস্যার কারণে বা স্ত্রীর বুকের দুধ খাওয়ানোর সময় গর্ভধারণ যদি স্বস্থ্যের ক্ষতিকর হয়, তবে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শে সাময়িক প্রতিরোধমূলক ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া বৈধ। ২. সহবাসে সাময়িক সংযম: প্রাচীনকালে মুসলমানরা সহবাসের সময় নির্দিষ্ট পদ্ধতি (আজল বা বীর্যপাত জরায়ুর বাইরে করা) ব্যবহার করে সন্তান জন্ম বিলম্ব করতেন। এটি নবী (সা.)-এর সময়েও অনুমোদিত ছিল। ৩. পারিবারিক পরিকল্পনা: যদি দম্পতির সামাজিক অবস্থা বা পরিবার ম্যানেজমেন্টের বিবেচনায় সাময়িকভাবে সন্তান নেওয়ার অনুকূল না হয়, তবে পারিবারিক পরিকল্পনা বৈধ হতে পারে। তবে এটি স্থায়ীভাবে সন্তান জন্মদান বন্ধ করার উদ্দেশ্যে বৈধ নয়।
অবৈধ পন্থা ও ক্ষেত্র
১. স্থায়ী জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ: শুধুমাত্র আর্থিক সমস্যার অজুহাতে বা জীবনযাত্রার মান উন্নত করার লক্ষ্যে স্থায়ীভাবে সন্তান জন্ম বন্ধ করা শরিয়াতে নিষিদ্ধ।
২. অন্যায় উদ্দেশ্যে গর্ভপাত: সন্তানের লিঙ্গ বা অন্য কোনো অজুহাতে গর্ভপাত করানো সম্পূর্ণ হারাম। আল্লাহ পবিত্র কোরআনে বলেছেন: “তোমরা দারিদ্র্যের ভয়ে তোমাদের সন্তানদের হত্যা করো না। আমিই তোমাদের এবং তাদের জন্য রিজিক প্রদান করি।” [আল-ইসরা: ৩১]
৩. ঐচ্ছিক সিদ্ধান্ত: আল্লাহর রিজিকের উপর ভরসা না করে, কেবল নিজের ইচ্ছা বা সমাজের চাপের কারণে সন্তান জন্ম বন্ধ করা শরিয়ার দৃষ্টিতে অগ্রহণযোগ্য।
মোট কথা, জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ শরিয়া, মানব প্রকৃতি এবং জাতীয় স্বার্থের পরিপন্থী। আল্লাহ তাঁর কিতাবে সন্তানদের অলংকার বলে উল্লেখ করেছেন এবং তাদের প্রতিপালনের জন্য নিজ দায়িত্বের কথা বলেছেন। দারিদ্র্যের ভয়ে জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণের অনুমোদন আল্লাহর উপর বিশ্বাসহীনতার পরিচায়ক। সমাজ ও ধর্মের সুষম বিকাশে শরিয়ার সঠিক নির্দেশনা অনুসরণ করা জরুরি।
আমরা আল্লাহর কাছে প্রার্থনা করি, তিনি যেন আমাদের সত্যের পথ দেখান এবং বিভ্রান্তি থেকে রক্ষা করেন। আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের প্রতি সর্বদা দয়াশীল এবং তাদের রিজিকের জন্য দায়িত্বশীল। অতএব, আল্লাহর প্রতি আস্থা রেখে, সন্তানদের প্রতিপালনে মনোনিবেশ করা উচিত।
